Township Manager Randee Elton said the main focus last year was on the soon-to-be-completed Municipal Complex expansion and no large paving work was completed.

With last year’s pause on paving, the township was able to budget close to $2 million for summer 2020.

This year, 12.7 miles of roadway will be repaved.

The township began undertaking a more concerted effort to repave roads, some which had not been repaved in 60 years, starting in 2012. Over the past eight years, the township has spent $16.3 million to repave 121 miles of township roadways.
