For the first time since March, the county has reported an average of about 21 cases per day.
Last week, 145 cases were reported, the lowest average since March when the pandemic was starting, county officials said.

Over the past three days, the county reported only eight new cases on Saturday and 26 on Monday. No statistics were reported on Sunday and six cases reported were too delayed to still be considered infectious.
Between Saturday and Monday, 12 of the new cases were blamed on household contacts, 10 were residents or workers at long-term care centers, four were due to community spread, two were transmitted in health care settings, two were from workplace contacts, and four were unable to be reached by contact tracers.
“A total of 34 cases over the last three days is something we should be very optimistic about,” Bucks County Health Department Director Dr. David Damsker said in a statement. “We are a week and a half into the yellow phase and a ways out from the large protests that occurred.”

Damsker said last week that despite COVID-19 cases dropping that people still needed to take precautions, like wearing face coverings, and following safety guidelines.
Three deaths of COVID-19 patients in the county were reported between Saturday and Monday. The three were residents of long-term care facilities, were over the age of 85, and had underlying health problems.
