Bristol Borough police took at least one person into custody late Tuesday evening after reports of gunfire, according to law enforcement sources and residents.
The scene unfolded shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Buckley Street.
Responding officers cordoned off the block of Buckley Street between Clymer and Spruce streets, according to residents.

Two sources told LevittownNow.com that officers arrested one person close to the scene.
On social media, there were reports a gun was recovered, but the sources declined to comment on that.

As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, court records showed no charges had been filed in connection with the incident.
An emergency medical services source said there were no shooting-related ambulance calls on Buckley Street Tuesday night.
A nearby resident reported hearing several gunshots ring out before police cruisers arrived.

A Buckley Street resident said she heard no shots fired because she was in bed, but she witnessed officers moving down the street and searching the area using flashlights.
According to a bystander, Bristol Borough officers were aided by officers from Bristol Township and Middletown Township, including a K-9 unit.
