
The new COVID-19 case count remained low on Wednesday.
Bucks County officials said there were 18 new cases reported. Of those cases, four were due to community spread, three lived at long-term care facilities, three people caught the virus at work, two were through household contacts, one occurred in a health care setting, and one was an inmate at the county prison. Four patients were unable to be reached by contact tracers.

Three of the new cases were delayed in their reporting to county health officials. The three patients are no longer considered infected.
Four new deaths of COVID-19 patients ranging in age from 86 to 96 were reported. All were residents of long-term care facilities with underlying health conditions. Three of the deaths were only reported Wednesday but happened in May.
As of Wednesday night, 82 Bucks Countians were in local hospitals and 16 were in critical condition on ventilators.

Since the pandemic began, 5,047 positive COVID-19 cases were reported, 482 deaths, and 2,152 recoveries.
