As Bucks County moves to the “yellow” phase under the state’s COVID-19 mitigation plan, Falls Township has announced plans to reopen playgrounds and other park amenities.
Below is the township’s park amenities reopening plan:
As of tomorrow 6/5, the following park amenities are to reopen: all playgrounds, dog park, skate park, pavilions, tennis courts, and the hockey rink.
Additionally, Driftwood Adventure (paddleboard/kayak rentals) are to set to begin this Saturday 6/6. Basketball courts will reopen on Sunday 6/7. Bathrooms are still closed. We will be looking to reopen them in the near future.
Please keep in mind as we enter the “yellow” phase tomorrow, there are still restrictions and guidelines we ask you to follow. They are:
1. Gatherings in the “yellow” phase are limited to a
maximum of 25 people.
2. Continue to practice social distancing.
3. Please bring and apply hand sanitizer (contains at
least 60% alcohol) often.
4. Cover your cough or sneeze in your elbow
5. If you feel sick or feel you may have been exposed
to someone with COVID-19, please DO NOT come
to the parks.We know it has been difficult the past few months. We sincerely thank you for your patience and continued cooperation.
