Body Found At Park Along Delaware River

A body was discovered along the Delaware River Tuesday evening.

Authorities said the body was found Quaker Penn Park in Falls Township in the area of the boat ramp.

Police Lt. Nelson Whitney confirmed the body washed up and said an autopsy will be needed to obtain more details.

Firefighters and boats were dispatched from several companies, including Falls Township, Levittown No. 1, and Morrisville fire companies.

The coroner’s office was called to transport the body from the park.
