Falls Twp. Reopening Parks After Two Week Closure

Falls Township announced that parks will reopen Saturday.

The municipality said its public parks, which were closed at sunset on Friday, April 3 in the “interest of public safety,” will reopen but amenities like playgrounds, dog parks, skate parks, and restrooms will remain closed.

“Community members are asked to practice social distancing measures recommended by the CDC, including maintaining a six-foot distance between yourself and other park visitors,” a statement from the township said.

The move comes hours after Bucks County announced they would reopen their parks.
