Falls Township has closed its parks.
The township said the closure of Falls Township Community Park, Quaker Penn Park, and other municipal parks was “in the best interest of public safety.”

The parks closed as of sunset on Friday.
Previously, playgrounds and active recreation areas in the township were closed, but walking trails remained open.
Some municipalities outside of the Levittown area have closed their parks, but many have just closed facilities and blocked access to playground and sports fields. The county has closed parks and the state has closed facilities but left trails open.
