A vehicle was badly damaged after a wreck along West Lincoln Highway.

The single-car crash happened Monday evening along West Lincoln Highway at Harris Avenue.

Police said the driver of the of the car suffered minor injuries and was cited for the crash.

A witness told police there may have been a drag race happening on the road at the time of the crash.

West Lincoln Highway was blocked for a brief period of time while the crash was cleared.
