A shooting that happened Sunday afternoon along the Delaware Canal State Park path in Bristol Township was under investigation as of nightfall.
Neighbors said that police from multiple agencies and a K-9 unit rushed to the scene along the state park property that abuts the Lavana Falls Apartments and Haines Road near Route 13 in the Edgely section of the township in the mid-afternoon.

Law enforcement sources confirm the activity was related to a shooting.
It was not clear if someone was shot and injured, but an ambulance was at the scene.
As of 7:40 p.m., no charges had been filed in the case.
