The Neshaminy School District closed all schools on Friday.

The district blamed the unexpected closure on staffing shortages.

“Please note that NO staff or student COVID-19 infections have been reported to the District , this closure is just due to staff shortages,” a statement from the district said.

Transportation to the technical high and private schools will be provided.

All school offices will be open.

The closure came as the Pennsbury School District closed for the day to clean and have staff training. Several other districts in Bucks County closed due to COVID-19 worries and all Montgomery County schools were shut down.

Correction: A previous version of this article stated all school offices will be closed. They will, in fact, be open. The error was on our end.ย
