A bomb threat cleared students from Neil A. Armstrong Middle School in Bristol Township Monday afternoon.
The district said in a statement that the threat was found in a bathroom stall at the school off Wistar Road in the Fairless Hills section of the township around 2:20 p.m.
Once the threat was found, students was cleared from the building and police were called, the Bristol Township School District said.
Students were dismissed at 2:45 p.m. directly from the evacuation site to their waiting buses to be taken home.
The district cancelled all after school activities.
Parents told LevittownNow.com that police were outside the school at the end of the day as students were leaving.
The district said more details will be shared with students later Monday.
