Credit Union Gets Green Light To Build In Fairless Hills

American Heritage Federal Credit Union is taking the place of a former gas station.

On Thursday evening, Bristol Township Council approved preliminary and final land development for the new credit union with two drive-thru lanes at the corner of South Oxford Valley Road and South Olds Boulevard in Fairless Hills.

The new credit union will be a 3,100-square-feet brick building on the site of the former Lukoil gas station. It will feature an underground stormwater basin, company representatives said.

The driveway on South Oxford Valley Road would be right in, right out. There will also be an entry and exit on South Olds Boulevard.

Environmental remediation work has taken place at the former gas station site.

An American Heritage Federal Credit Union official said the location is expected to open in August.
