After some delay, Phila Flea Markets expects to open in the closed Walmart in Bristol Borough later this month.
Tony Soprano, the marketing coordinator for Phila Flea Markets, told LevittownNow.com on Wednesday night that the flea market will host their grand opening on Saturday, February 29 and Sunday, March 1.

The opening comes after delays related to the fire alarm systems at the building. The flea market had to make repairs before they could open inside the former big-box store on Commerce Circle.
The flea market will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., Soprano has previously said.
The Bristol Indoor Flea Market plans to host vendors carrying antique and vintage, used and household, new and handmade, and punk rock sections.

Walmart closed in late 2017 and their lease for the space ended in late 2019. Despite the flea market’s temporary use of the facility, no long-term tenant has been found.
