A sculpture unveiled Thursday brings together the east and west.

At the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman and Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding unveiled a half-ton butter sculpture depicting three of Pennsylvania’s beloved professional sports mascots – Philadelphia Flyers’ Gritty, Philadelphia Eagles’ Swoop, and Pittsburgh Steelers’ Steely McBeam. The tree are celebrating tailgating with dairy products.

Once the farm show ends, the butter will be moved to the Reinford Farm in Juniata County to be converted into renewable energy using a methane digester.

The sculpture’s creation was sponsored by the American Dairy Association North East (ADANE).
