No injuries were reported, but a train collided with a vehicle on SEPTA’s West Trenton Line Tuesday evening.

A train heading from Philadelphia to New Jersey when it struck a disabled vehicle on the tracks not far from the Woodborune Station at the Township Line Road crossing on the Middletown and Lower Makefield border around 7 p.m.

Andrew Busch, SEPTA’s chief press officer, told LevittownNow.com four young men were in the car when they turned onto the tracks and the vehicle became struck. The group left the vehicle and police were quickly on the scene.

Police did not have enough time to notify the SEPTA conductor that the car was obstructing the tracks and the two vehicles collided. There were passengers on the SEPTA Silverliner V and all escaped injury, Busch said.

“Fortunately, no serious injuries, but it could have been a bad incident,” he said.
