As work continues on the I-95-Pennsylvania Turnpike project, a new traffic pattern will be starting soon at the Delaware Valley interchange and Route 13 in Bristol Township.
From PennDOT:
Beginning Monday, November 25, a new traffic signal at the interchange will be set to flash and message signs will be deployed to warn motorists that the signal and new traffic pattern will be in place sometime after Wednesday, December 11, through early summer 2020. It will take approximately two days to complete the work in order to open the new access ramps. Once the signalized intersection is in place, northbound Route 13 motorists will make a left at the signal to access I-95, while southbound Route 13 motorists will make a right at the signal to access I-95.
In addition to the new pattern, starting on Wednesday, December 11, Route 13 thru traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction through the signalized intersection area through early summer 2020.

The new traffic pattern is forย reconstruction and realignment of the ramp and reconstruction of the bridge over Ellwood Avenue. The project will get rid of the current interchange configuration and remove of the ramp bridge over Route 13. The final intersection will feature a traffic light on Route 13 for safety.
In addition to theย realignment and reconstruction, the project has included the construction of a sound barrier,ย stormwater management infiltration basins, roadway drainage improvements, signing, pavement markings, roadway and intersection lighting, and utility relocations.
