Now through November 22, the office will collect appetizers, canned vegetables, stuffing mix, gravy, cranberry sauce and dessert items. The items will be distributed by Bucks County Housing Group to the area’s needy families, children and disabled adults.

The Bucks County Housing Group runs two food pantries in the county. Although its focus is on housing, it runs the two pantries to help those struggling with food insecurity.

“As the holidays approach, it’s important that we remember those among us who might be in need, so I’m proud that my staff and I can participate in this program,” said Galloway, a Democrat. “I’m always in awe of the generosity of our community, and I look forward to another successful Thanksgiving food drive.”
