Both candidates have affirmed that they are against Elcon’s plan to build a hazardous waste facility in the township.
Boraski voted against the plan in late April. He said his vote came after reviewing the plan, his own analysis, and listening to the residents.
Graves said in a response to the voter’s guide that she opposes Elcon and facilities similar to it in the township.

The candidate also said she believes a Clean Air Ordinance should have been passed in the township to deter Elcon. She additionally raised concern that the existing air quality doesn’t meet what is mandated by regulators.
Boraski, an electrical foreman, said one of his goals in office is to help Falls Township grow its business community. One of his aims is to add companies that will be good neighbors.

“I grew up in Port Richmond and I want to give my kids what I didn’t have growing up,” Boraski said, adding he wants that for all residents of the township.
Graves said in her candidate profile that her experience over her working career has prepared her for the supervisor role.
