A shooting in Falls Township remained under investigation as police looked for the suspects Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting was reported Tuesday in the 1100 block of Anders Drive in the Pennwood Crossing mobile home community in Falls Township’s Morrisville section around 4:50 a.m. Information came in that there was gunfire in the neighborhood.
Officers responding to the call found that there were two subjects in ski masks who approached a person and fired one shot, which did not hit anyone, police said.

A red Mercedes Benz coupe was seen dropping the two suspects off and fleeing after, police said.

The investigation led police to Langhorne Manor and caused Cairn University to lockdown their campus from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. The first classes of the morning were cancelled due to a police search for the two suspects.

Authorities said the Mercedes was recovered and the two suspects remained at large.

The mobile home where Tuesday’s shooting took place was where Keith Dorian Schultz, 48, suffered a “serious” gunshot wound to his left hand in August. Schultz, according to police, shot himself by mistake but lied about being attacked because he was not legally allowed to possess a gun.
