Lane closures are planned along New Falls Road this week.
As part of work for the Pennsylvania Turnpike, lane closures with flaggers is planned on New Falls Road in Bristol Township between Hillside Avenue and Martins Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to PennDOT.

The crews will be working to clear the area around the New Falls Road bridge that crosses the Turnpike.
The work is weather dependent.
According to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the bridge will be replaced next summer by a new two-span steel girder bridge. As part of the project, Nebraska Street and Martins Lane will be reconstructed along New Falls Road to accommodate a possible expansion of the Turnpike in the future.
