Several Miles Of Local State Roads To Be Repaved This Fall

Crews will begin repaving several miles of state roadway in the Levittown area this fall.

PennDOT officials confirmed that Hulmeville Road between Galloway Road in Bensalem, through Hulmeville Borough, onto Bellevue Avenue in Penndel Borough to Durham Road; Newportville Road and Main Street between A Avenue in Bristol Township, through Middletown, and to Trenton Avenue in Hulmeville Borough; and Winchester Avenue and Langhorne-Yardley Road between North Pine Street in Langhorne Borough and Bridgetown Pike in Middletown will be repaved.

No start date for the work has been announced, but PennDOT said the repaving is expected to be completed in December.

PennDOT said contractย James D. Morrissey Inc of Philadelphia has been hired for $4.5 million to repave and seal the roadways.
