Filming of the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible” won’t be taking place in Falls Township in September.

Allyson Kircher, a producer with the show’s production company Lando Entertainment, said filming at Michael’s Restaurant and Lounge on Old Lincoln Highway in the Morrisville section of the township would be cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

“We had to cancel this episode for now, but we hope to come back to the area soon,” she said.

Michael’s Restaurant and Lounge is a traditional Italian eatery that features tableside cooking.

Restaurant Impossible hosted by Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine focuses on restaurants that need a boost. It uses a $10,000 budget and support from area residents to turnaround eateries in two days. The chef uses his ideas and recipes to make changes to the restaurants. On the final day of the show, the public is invited to try the refreshed eatery.
