Michael’s Restaurant and Lounge is a traditional Italian eatery that features tableside cooking. Numerous online reviews for the business mention its older design, but highlight the menu items.
The show that is in production on season 16 features Irvine visiting struggling restaurants and uses a $10,000 budget and support from area residents to turnaround the eateries in two days. The chef uses his ideas and recipes to make changes to the restaurants. On the final day of the show, the public is invited to try the refreshed eatery.
