A Falls Township woman has been charged after she allegedly entered a neighbor’s home.

Around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, Falls Township police were dispatched to Timber Lane for a report of a burglary. They arrived to find a resident who told them that Lisa A. Geeza, 58, entered his home and he confronted her, according to court papers.

Additional responding offers talked to witnesses who corroborated the report, police said.

Geeza was taken into custody.

While being processed at the police station, Geeza “refused to cooperate” and had to be placed in a restraint chair, court papers noted.

An hour before the alleged burglary, an officer was called to Timber Lane to deal with an intoxicated subject. The officer found Geeza, who was “highly intoxicated” and staggered toward a home on her street, police said.

In the previous incident, Geeza announced she was attempting to get her vehicle keys to drive. She did not know where she was and went back to her home, police said.

Geeza was asked by law enforcement not to leave her home or she could be cited for public intoxication, but she left again and was reminded that she was not to leave her home. A friend of the woman told an officer she would remind her friend not to leave, police said.

Geeza was arraigned on July 13 on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. She was arraigned and released from custody two days later on 10 percent of $2,500 bail.
