A 63-year-old Falls Township man was arrested Wednesday after a child porn investigation.
In a press release, Falls Township police said they received information from the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that they learned microblogging site Tumblr had reported suspected child pornography was uploaded to their platform.

Police said the images of suspected child pornography were uploaded from an IP address associated with Timothy Scott Karl, who lives in the township’s Levittown section, between August 28, 2018 and September 3, 2018.
A search warrant was obtained and investigators seized numerous devices belonging to Karl, police said.
“Karl admitted he would look at child pornography through Tumblr and download child pornography to his phone but then later delete them. His last download to his phone was in September 2018. However, he last looked at child pornography on his cell phone a week or two ago,” police said in their statement.

The images of child pornography numbered more than 100 and included “disturbing images” showing kids engaging in sex acts. Many of the children were under the age of 12, police said.
Karl was arraigned before District Judge Jan Vislosky late Wednesday morning on two counts of disseminating images of child sex acts and two counts of possession of child pornograph. He was released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
