A Falls Township man was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Falls Township detectives received word in October 2018 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that social media microblogging site Tumblr had reported the account “lionken24” posted suspected child pornography. Police launched an investigation and they allege they found 32 images of suspected child pornography.

In court papers, investigators said some of the images showed male children between the ages of 10 and 15 positioned in “sexually explicit positions.”

A subpoena to Verizon, which owns Tumblr, found an IP address linked to the images traced back to a home on Tanglewood Lane in Falls Township’s Levittown section. The information led to a search warrant for the home, which was approved and executed in late June, court papers stated.

During an interview with two Falls Township detectives, Kenneth Richard Roberts III, 24, admitted he downloaded and viewed child pornography on multiple occasions, citing he knew it was “wrong.” He also said he uploaded the images on Tumblr using the “lionken24” account, police said.

A search of Roberts’ phone uncovered images of male juveniles who were in sexual positions, police said.

Roberts was arraigned last Friday on charges of disseminating images of child sex acts and possesion of child pornograph. He was arraigned and released on $50,000 unsecured.
