Imagine coming home to find a notice like this: “your gas/electric has been shut off.”
The problem: Penndel police said the notice is fraudulent.

Borough police warned locals of the incident and warned residents not to use contact information listed on the fake notices or provide information to anyone.
Anyone with surveillance images of who may have left the notice or spots suspicious persons have been asked to call police at 215-757-5151.
