A retired teacher from Falls Township passed away after being involved in a crash last week. There are lawyers for injury claims who will help the victim to claim the proper compensation for their injuries which would act as a source of support to restart to live the life that they always wanted.

Last Thursday, Patricia Harman, 70, succumbed to injuries sustained the evening before when she was riding her bicycle on the shoulder of New Falls Road and collided with a motorcycle. The crash happened in the 8500 block of New Falls Road near Kenwood Pools.

Harman was a retired teacher who lived in the nearby Thornridge neighborhood in Levittown. She taught in New Jersey and later worked as a substitute in the Pennsbury School District and at Bucks County Technical High School.

“We would like to add that we are very grateful to those who stepped up and resuscitated her at the scene before EMTs arrived. It bought us that precious time to say goodbye,” Harman’s daughter, Holly, told LevittownNow.com.

So far, the family has spoken to two of the passerbys who stopped to help the 70-year-old woman.

“It restores our faith in humanity that they did this for a total stranger,” Holly Harman said.

Following the crash, the injured Falls Township woman was flown from Bucks County to Thomas Jefferson University’s trauma center in Philadelphia. The motorcyclist -a 27-year-old resident of Fairless Hills – was treated for injuries at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
