An armed robber hit the 7-Eleven on South Pennsylvania Avenue in Morrisville Borough late Saturday night.
The suspect walked into the convenience store around 11:35 p.m. and walked behind the counter while displaying a black handgun. Staff were ordered to put place money in a bag, police said.

The suspect took the cash and two packs of Newport cigarettes before fleeing on foot toward the Robert Morris Apartments where he got into an vehicle, police said.
The light-skinned Hispanic male suspect was wearing gloves, a black and yellow New York baseball cap, dark-colored hooide, gray and white pants, and white sneakers, according to investigators.

A number of 7-Eleven stores have been robbed recently in Falls Township and Bristol Township. A botched robbery of the 7-Eleven in Langhorne ended with a police officer opening fire on a suspect last week.
