Two Bristol Township School District students were taken to a local hospital following a crash involving two buses.
The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mill Creek Elementary School off Mill Creek Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

Carol Flannigan, who was at the school to pick up her grandchildren, witnessed buses 24 and 32 collided in the driveway to the school. She said bus 32 had stopped to let students cross when the following bus struck it.
District spokesperson Leza Raffel said one student was taken to the hospital by ambulance and the other was driven by their parent to the emergency room. Both students suffered back pain.
The students on the buses were assessed by emergency responders following the crash, Raffel added.

“All I saw was a bus stopping and then another bus trying to go around it … but then I heard a big, giant noise. I turned around and saw the two buses,” said Mill Creek student Anthony Jordan, who spoke to a reporter with permission from a parent.
“I heard this loud noise, and I was really worried about the kids,” Flannigan said, adding she was thankful no one appeared seriously hurt.
