Pedestrian Struck By Two Vehicles Along New Falls Road

The pedestrian who died along New Falls Road Sunday evening was struck by two vehicles, police said Monday.

Police said the yet-to-be identified pedestrian was in the eastbound lane of the 6000 block of New Falls Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section around 8:40 p.m. when they were struck by a gray Nissan Altima and then a black Ford Fusion. The crash happened near Indian Creek Drive.

The pedestrian who was struck was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 39-year-old Levittown woman who was driving the Altima and the 17-year-old Bristol boy driving the Fusion spoke with police. The drivers were not hurt.

The area where the crash happened does not have a pedestrian crossing, police said.

Officers were assisted at the scene by fire police, Levittown Fire Company No. 2, Middletown police, and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.

The area where the crash happened was blocked following the incident as police investigated the pedestrian’s death.
