A shed was destroyed by fire on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters from the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office and the Edgely, Levittown No. 2, and Third District fire companies responded to the backyard of a home on Sugarmaple Lane in Bristol Township’s Levittown section for a shed that was ablaze at 4:55 p.m.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the flames caused the nearby PECO and Comcast wires to collapse. Radiant heat also damaged the siding of the home and a neighbor’s shed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
