Police told LevittownNow.com that they have taken reports of a suspicious man in the area and were probing the incidents.
Similar reports that a suspicious man had approached and possibly even followed women starting Monday evening were received by police in Bristol Township, Falls Township, and Tullytown. Two posts about the alleged incidents went live on Facebook late Monday night and spread quickly.
In the two incidents mentioned on Facebook, the man said he had moved from Virginia and asked about smoking. He queried about where he could get cigarettes and also about the location of a nearby Wawa.

Bristol Township police confirmed a woman and her minor daughter reported that they were approached by the suspicious man in their municipality. A report on the incident was taken and police were unable to immediately contact the man connected to the SUV described by the woman.
Patrol officers in Bristol Township were advised of the incident and will keep their eyes open, Lt. Ralph Johnson said.
In Tullytown, police Chief Daniel Doyle said his department received two reports and will be investigating the incident, including pulling surveillance video from the Walmart where the incident happened.
