A portion of Langhorne-Yardley Road in Middletown will close this week.
Utility improvement work will close the road between Winchester Avenue and Bridgetown Pike from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The work is weather permitting.

PennDOT officials said the closure will mean drivers will be detoured over Winchester Avenue, Pine Street/Newtown-Langhorne Road (Route 413), and Bridgetown Pike.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
The work is the second time in the past month the road will be closed. Previously, work for the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority led to a weekend closure.
