A Falls Township methamphetamine dealer will serve time in state prison for drug sales.
Shakeem Rasheed Carter, 36, pleaded guilty this week to four counts ofย delivery of meth and one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The plea was part of a deal Carter struck with prosecutors, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said.

Carter will spend five to 10 years in prison under a sentence imposed by Bucks County Judge Jeffrey Finley.
Carter was arrested in late April 2018 following a months-long meth sales investigation at the Rock Springs Apartments in Falls Township’s Morrisville section. He was arrested by Middletown investigators following four controlled buys of meth, authorities said.
At the time of his arrest, Carter’s hands were wet and covered with residue from meth, authorities said.

Meth, a scale, and a large amount of cash were discovered in Carter’s apartment. Investigators also found a sheet tracking drug sales and how much they owed to him, authorities said.
