Falls Township residents will soon have the opportunity to dispose of their yard waste as part of the municipality’s 2019 spring cleanup effort.
According to officials, the cleanup will take place Saturday, April 13. All yard waste must be bagged in 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags or placed in 30-gallon trash containers without lids. Plastic bags are not allowed.

If disposing of branches, residents are asked to be sure they are no larger than 4 inches in length, bundled, and not to exceed 50 pounds.
Residents have been instructed to place the yard waste in the same location as their regular trash pick up by 6 a.m.
The township will also host a free bulk disposal day held on Saturday, April 20. The bulk disposal program which is for residents of Falls Township and Tullytown Borough and will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Proof of residency is required and the event is not intended for commercial customers or contractors.
