Firefighters braved 10 degree temperatures and put down a small fire inside a Levittown home Thursday night.
The fire broke outside inside the second-floor laundry room of a home in the 70 block of Red Cedar Drive in Bristol Township shortly before 10 p.m.

Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Chief Chris Shortt said crews arrived to find flames shooting from the laundry room window.
Quick work by firefighters and the residents closing the laundry room door helped contain the blaze, Shortt and Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.
Residents were home at the time of the fire and escaped without injury, Shortt said.

Dippolito said it has been determined the fire started inside the dryer.
Due to the extreme cold, water that spilled from fire hoses quickly froze on the street and sidewalk outside the home.

Firefighters from the Edgely, Levittown No. 2, and William Penn fire companies responded to the scene.
