A space heater was blamed for a fire that damaged a home early Monday morning.
As the wind chill made it feel like close to -20 degrees, firefighters were called to the 20 block of Indian Creek Entry in Bristol Township’s Levittown section around 3:57 a.m. for the blaze.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage of the home.
Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said no one was home at the time of the fire.
The Edgely, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 2, and William Penn fire companies responded to the scene. The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and fire police also responded.
