A Bristol Borough man has been accused of pulling a dagger-like blade during an attempted robbery, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the Harriman Section of the borough around 9 a.m. Saturday for a reported robbery.

Police said they identified Daniel Vincent Trappassee, 30, as the man who pulled the dagger-like blade on a 49-year-old Bristol Borough man and demanded money. The 49 year old defended himself by picking up a two-by-four and striking Trappasse.
Trappasse, according to police, fled the scene and was picked up by officers on Bath Street.
According to court records, Trappasse also faces an unrelated drug possession case from Middletown and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and simple assault in Falls Township. He also was charged with criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, and related offenses the evening before the alleged Saturday robbery.

Trappasse, who was arraigned and held Saturday on the criminal mischief case, is awaiting arraignment on attempted robbery, possession of an instrument of crime, and related offenses connected to the alleged attempted robbery.
