Jury Convicts Man For Selling Drugs That Killed Woman At Motel

At a trial last week, a Morrisville Borough man charged with the drug-related death of a woman in Falls Township was found guilty of several crimes.

Taylor Hopkins, 26, was convicted by the jury at the Bucks County Justice Center in Doylestown Borough of drug trafficking-related crimes and drug delivery resulting in death, according to prosecutors.

The judge revoked bail with a sentencing date to be set.

Taylor was charged with selling the drugs thatย killed 43-year-old Maryanne Cominsky inside the Country House Motel on May 4, 2017.

Cominsky died of a heroin andย fentanyl overdose, according to anย autopsy.

Authorities said Hopkins had suspected heroin under the names “KAYNE,” “Kevin Hart,” and “YVS” at his Morrisville residence in Morrisville.

Detectives from Falls and the Bucks County District Attorneyโ€™s Office wrote in court papers that Hopkins admitted to selling heroin.

Hopkins was arrested in Trenton in January by members of theย U.S. Marshal Serviceโ€™s Fugitive Task Force.
