A boil water advisory has been issued for some Pennsylvania American water customers.
Below is their announcement:
Yardley Boro, Lower Makefield Township, PA, FALLS TWP CUSTOMERS: Boil water advisory has been issued for all PA American Water customers. We routinely monitor the water for turbidity, or cloudiness, to tell us whether we are effectively filtering the water supply. Samples taken today, Nov 29, had turbidity levels above the regulatory standard. Because of these high levels of turbidity, there is an increased chance of contamination. We are notifying customers via our automated emergency contact system using phone, email and text. More information is available, along with location of water tankers, on our website at https://amwater.com/paaw/alerts/manage-alerts/id/2988241. We apologize for the inconvenience.
