One person is in custody and a second is being sought after two separate and seemingly unrelated robberies took place near the Five Points intersection in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.
The first robbery was reported around 6:30 p.m. Monday evening at the Citizens Bank inside the Acme grocery store on New Falls Road. Officers learned a female suspect implied she had a weapon in her one pocket and made off from the bank branch with cash, police said.

A short time later, officers found a woman who matched the description of the suspect nearby on Goldengate Road with cash in her pockets, police said.
The woman had not yet been arraigned as of 9:30 p.m. and police were preparing her arrest paperwork.
At 7:09 p.m., officers were rushing back to the area for a reported robbery at the Rite Aid, which is only roughly 400 feet away from the Acme store’s front door. The suspect reportedly grabbed cash from a register as he went to make a purchase before running out of the store. He did not display a weapon, police said.

A police K-9 unit was used to search the area, but the suspect in the second robbery was not located as of 9:30 p.m., police said.
The Rite Aid suspect was described as a thin 6-foot-tall Hispanic male who was wearing all black, including his hoodie, police said.
