The administrator recently hired by the Pennsbury School Board as the new business manager has turned down the $130,000-per-year job.
Katie Marie Braun, the assistant business administrator for the Springfield Township School District in Montgomery County, “has informed the administration that she does not plan to accept the position of Business Administrator for Pennsbury,” district spokesperson Ann Langtry told LevittownNow.com.

Braun was approved by the school board last month. The school board is expected to vote on Braun’s decision to not accept the three-year job at their next meeting.
Langtry said the school board is reviewing their next steps.
The school board voted last month to hire Dr. Jeffrey S. Bader, a former college instructor and school district administrator, as a consultant to help fill the business manager position until Braun started in the school district. During his time with Pennsbury, Bader is being paid a daily per diem rate of $575 and handle the operations of the business department.
