Pothole-Laden Road To Be Repaved

One of the most pothole-laden roads in Lower Bucks County is set be repaved starting in October.

PennDOT officials said New Ford Mill Road between Bordentown Road and Tyburn Road in Falls Township will be repaired and resurfaced between Monday, October 1 and Saturday, October 13. Work will take place between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. on those days.

New Ford Mill Road is used heavily by large trucks and has been eaten away by potholes over the past few years.

The work is weather dependent.

The repaving effort is part of a $12.6 million project awarded to Blooming Glen Contractors of Hilltown that will repave a total of 44 miles of PennDOT-owned roadway.
