Police confirm Charles Mitchell was found safe in Chester County.

Police are concerned about a missing 79-year-old Falls Township man.

Charles Mitchell was last seen leaving his home in his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado for a short local trip around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and failed to return home, police said.

He is a diabetic and has been increasingly confused, police said.

Around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, he was spotted in the Langhorne area and asked for directions to Fairless Hills.

Mitchell is described by police as being 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds with hazel eyes and gray hair. His truck has Pennsylvania plate YCL0114.

Anyone with information on Mitchell’s whereabouts has been asked to call 9-1-1.
