A body was removed from the parking lot of an area food store on Saturday.
Police, firefighters, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office were on scene outside the Giant Food Store on New Falls Road in Middletown’s Levittown section during the mid-afternoon handling the incident. Bystanders said there were numerous officials at the scene in the parking lot.

The person who was deceased is suspected of overdosing, a police official told LevittownNow.com.
A sign outside the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad station on New Falls Road, which serves a portion of the Levittown area, notes responders have handled more than 250 overdose calls with just under 20 of them turning fatal in 2018.
