Jessica Raab will be representing Bucks County as the 2018 Middletown Grange Fair Queen.

Raab, 18, of Langhorne, was crowned by 2017 Grange Fair Queen Sarah Liebel Wednesday morning during the Bucks County Commissioners meeting at the Wrightstown fairground.

“I’m just so excited and glad to be able to be part of the Grange Fair,” said Raab, a 2018 Neshaminy High School graduate.

The Grange Fair Queen will be out and about at the festivities this week and will serve as an ambassador for the county.

The Commissioners presented Bucks County Conservation District Fred Groshens Farmer of the Year award to Trauger’s Farm Market in Nockamixon Township. The Trauger family has been farming in the county for eight generations and have worked hard to conserve water and keep soil viable.

The award is named after Groshens, a former newspaper editor and county employee who served in a number of roles over the years.
