Philadelphia Man Killed In Saturday Evening Motorcycle Crash

A Philadelphia motorcyclist was killed in a Saturday evening crash.

The 36-year-old Philadelphia man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene by a Bucks County deputy coroner.

According to police, the crash happened around 6:35 p.m. at the intersection of Ford Road and Pearl Buck Road. The motorcycle struck a tractor-trailer driven by a 52-year-old man from Jefferson Hills in Allegheny County. The truck was turning left from Pearl Buck Road onto Ford Road when the motorcycle struck it.

The crash remains under investigation by the Bristol Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit.

Ford Road was closed in the area of the crash into Saturday night as investigators worked at the scene.

Police were assisted at the scene by Bristol Township Fire Police, Bucks County Rescue Squad, Edgely Fire Company, and Newportville Fire Company.
