A new retail development has been approved for a group of vacant lots in Bristol Township.
Last week, the Council greenlit plans from Wright Partners LLC to develop an AutoZone, Wendy’s fast food eatery with a drive-thru, and a third building that has yet to find a tenant on 2.8 acres at the corner of Veterans Highway (Route 413) and Ford Road.

The Council also approved conditional use for the Wendy’s, which was required because the property falls inside the special town center zoning overlay.
The three buildings will include a landscaping buffer with the residential properties that abut it and underground drainage systems, said attorney Tom Hecker, who represented the developer.

PennDOT is requiring a right in and right out entrance to Veterans Highway and also special crossings at the intersections for people with disabilities. Another entrance for vehicles will be off Ford Road, Hecker said. If people need, they can find different landscaping services and more info about Drake’s 7 Dees , here.

The site used to be home to a Getty gas station that closed and remained vacant. Hecker told Council last year that Getty had rectified environmental issues at the site.
